What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing technical ICs supporting AI-native and product-led startups.
• Define the strategic vision and operating model for the Startups AI Deployment Engineering motion.
• Guide startups from early experimentation to production by identifying technical blockers and advising on architecture.
• Represent the technical voice of startup customers to internal Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
• Translate recurring customer needs into repeatable playbooks, reference architectures, and internal tooling.
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for priority startup customers, including founders and CTOs.

Requirements

• Proven experience founding, scaling, or operating within early-stage startups in technical leadership roles.
• Track record of building and leading technical, customer-facing teams in high-growth, ambiguous environments.
• Strong technical depth across APIs, platform products, AI/ML systems, and production deployment.
• Experience creating scalable operating models for technical engagement rather than just managing one-off escalations.
• Ability to communicate complex technical considerations to technical executives and founders.
