Staff Software Engineer - Feature & Experience Verification (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end verification and quality strategies for complex infotainment and connected vehicle features.
• Define and implement verification across bench, simulation, virtualization, and in-vehicle environments.
• Design and expand automated test coverage to improve efficiency, scalability, and repeatability.
• Lead issue triage and defect analysis to ensure timely resolution of quality concerns.
• Mentor and coach engineers to elevate team technical capability and verification discipline.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to accelerate test design and defect detection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in automotive connectivity, telematics, infotainment, or embedded software systems.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality, systems integration, or a closely related technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive connectivity and communication software architectures.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT) now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong programming and automation skills in Python and/or Robot Framework.
• Experience with JIRA, Xray, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on working knowledge of AI and AI-enabled engineering tools for workflow optimization.
