What you will do

• Configure, install, and maintain core network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and encryption devices.
• Manage and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP for IPv4/IPv6 networks.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and mission system environments.
• Implement and enforce information security procedures and policies.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system reliability for biometric operations.
• Train users on network operations and best practices.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a networking environment
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, GSEC)
• Experience designing and maintaining core network infrastructure
• Knowledge of routing protocols, VoIP, and cabling services

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
• Proficiency with technical documentation
