What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCC/GCC High) for scalability and performance.
• Develop automation strategies using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible to streamline provisioning and system management.
• Maintain 99.99% uptime through proactive infrastructure monitoring, redundancy strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure technical compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, and FedRAMP standards in collaboration with security teams.
• Act as the highest-level technical escalation point (Tier 3) for complex client and internal infrastructure issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to improve overall team expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT engineering, specifically within MSP/MSSP environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Mac and Google Workspace experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of networking (firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, SASE), virtualization, and Windows/Linux infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCC/GCC High environments.
