What you will do

  • Oversee EMEA and APAC direct tax processes, compliance, and the tax calendar.
  • Review corporate tax returns prepared by external advisors and perform technical research.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly worldwide U.S. GAAP tax provisions.
  • Manage direct tax payments and communicate with tax authorities regarding notices.
  • Monitor Pillar II legislative developments and translate them into practical data and process requirements.
  • Maintain transfer pricing policy and coordinate with external advisors on documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of global direct tax experience specifically within EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Strong understanding of direct tax compliance issues and related accounting processes.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and coordinating across different countries.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's degree in Taxation preferred).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Avalara, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working at a Big Four accounting firm.
  • Knowledge of local country GAAP and US GAAP.
  • Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives within tax compliance.
