What you will do

• Support patients with daily living activities and personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and recovery-focused care.
• Monitor, observe, and document patient behavior to ensure safety, treatment goals, and continuity of care.
• Assist with admissions, patient orientation, and the implementation of care plans.
• Facilitate group-based activities that encourage engagement and the development of coping skills.
• Respond to behavioral health crises and supervise patients during appointments and approved activities.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Prior customer service experience in healthcare, hospitality, human services, or high-interaction environments.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder required.
• Ability to work in an active environment involving prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or acute inpatient mental health settings.
• Experience providing direct patient care, patient observation, or therapeutic support.
