TL;DR

Junior Designer (Graphic Design): Developing brand and information graphics for reactive multi-platform storytelling with an accent on current affairs and breaking news. Focus on creating visual content for TV, social mobile explainers, and documentaries within a high-pressure newsroom environment.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in London). Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Develop brand and information graphics for reactive multi-platform storytelling on domestic and foreign news stories.
• Produce creative assets for diverse channels including live TV, social media explainers, and documentaries.
• Collaborate with award-winning designers and journalists in a fast-paced, world-class newsroom.
• Communicate and explain creative ideas clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Adapt designs for multiple platforms including mobile, web, social media, and print.

Requirements

• Formal training in design and a strong awareness of current design trends.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to think and design across multiple platforms (TV, mobile, web, social, and print).
• Passion for current affairs and visual storytelling.
• Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Ability to work a set rotation of shifts, including early starts (6:30am) or late finishes (10pm), Monday to Sunday.
