What you will do

• Design and build core backend architecture to shape the long-term codebase.
• Deliver scalable, maintainable systems while minimizing technical debt.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from shipping to iteration based on results.
• Automate repetitive development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Implement AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery speed and quality.
• Advocate for engineering excellence regarding security, performance, and stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade backend applications.
• Proficiency in Go with a strong grasp of idiomatic patterns and performance.
• Experience with cloud-native development, preferably on Azure or Cloudflare.
• Ability to balance trade-offs between security, stability, and speed.
• Automation-first mindset for building pipelines and tooling.
• Location: Hybrid work in Stockholm, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Background in cybersecurity or experience building security-sensitive products.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
• Full-stack exposure, including Nuxt and TypeScript on the frontend.
• Previous experience in early-stage companies or consulting.
