What you will do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle with an emphasis on architecture, design, and code quality.
• Develop and maintain backend systems for real-time equity trades with ultra-low latency requirements.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with a focused team to deliver enhancements to critical trading infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using data analysis and network diagnostics.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions focusing on scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in backend or systems programming.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of network protocols and ability to analyze network traffic.
• Background in financial services, capital markets, or fintech.
