DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/CI/CD): Building and operating CI/CD pipelines and on-premises platforms with an accent on automation, system reliability, and infrastructure as code. Focus on designing robust monitoring, managing Kubernetes clusters, and ensuring high availability for payment technology services.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from El Prat de Llobregat, Spain (Hybrid: 3 days remote)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software deployment across sites and datacenters.
• Operate and evolve on-premises Kubernetes and legacy platform hosting environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Implement and maintain consistent monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks.
• Handle support requests, lead escalations, and conduct Root Cause Analysis for system issues.
• Support automated testing and engage in performance analysis and system tuning.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Completed technical education or university degree in Computer Science.
• Several years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes on-premises.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD) and IaC (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
• Solid system administration skills in both Linux and Windows ecosystems.
• Experience operating Java applications and working with databases like MS SQL Server or Oracle.
