TL;DR

UX Designer (Fintech): Defining and enhancing user journeys for business credit card customers with an accent on end-to-end user experience and accessibility. Focus on crafting cohesive journeys using central design systems, prototyping high-fidelity flows, and balancing business requirements with user research.

Location: Hybrid (Chester or Manchester, UK). Requires spending at least two days per week (40% of time) at an office site.

Salary: £61,344 – £68,160

What you will do

  • Craft end-to-end user experiences for business credit card journeys, balancing content and UI elements.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, or Adobe XD.
  • Align business requirements with user needs by gathering research and providing design rationale.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure designs are technically feasible across platforms.
  • Advocate for and implement inclusive and accessible designs for a diverse range of users.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in User Experience or Interaction Design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating full ownership of interaction design projects.
  • Proficiency in modern prototyping tools and experience working with design systems.
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative research to inform the design process.
  • Must be based in the UK and able to work hybrid in Chester or Manchester.
  • Experience in financial services is highly preferred.
