What you will do

• Deliver operational modelling, including microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling for technically challenging projects.
• Develop and maintain scripts and macros to enhance modelling efficiency and output quality.
• Apply GIS techniques to transport modelling outputs for advanced analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex transportation challenges.
• Present technical analysis and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work independently to manage project tasks and meet delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a transport modeller.
• Must be based in or able to work from Sydney, NSW.
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in operational modelling platforms such as VISSIM, VisVAP, Aimsun, or SIDRA.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Visual Basic.
• Experience in GIS techniques applied to transport modelling.
