What you will do
- Investigate and resolve data integration issues across MDM, risk, and pricing systems using root cause analysis.
- Provide Level 2 support for market data platforms, including curve management and data feed troubleshooting.
- Monitor and validate market data accuracy against source systems such as exchanges and providers.
- Support risk management processes, including P&L reporting, VaR calculations, and exposure monitoring.
- Enforce data governance rules to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency across supported systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting using SQL, XML, JSON, and middleware logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in data management, risk systems, or application support.
- Deep understanding of commodities trading, market data concepts, and forward curves.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis or troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Databricks, Power BI, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with market data platforms like ZEMA.
