What you will do

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure high availability of production equipment.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, and automation-related failures.
• Provide technical expertise for robotics and PLC-controlled systems, including diagnostics and parameter adjustments.
• Drive equipment improvement initiatives, retrofits, and modernization projects to enhance stability and maintainability.
• Maintain technical records in ERP systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations and CE requirements.
• Act as a technical mentor for maintenance technicians and coordinate with external OEMs and machine builders.

Requirements

• University degree (BSc/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of professional experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience with automated production equipment, special machinery, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Solid knowledge of robotics, sensors, actuators, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Structured approach to fault analysis and maintenance planning.
• English: B2 level (spoken and written) required.
