Salary: C$112,200 – C$143,600 per year

What you will do

• Execute high-level performance, acting, and musical timing for stylized characters and whimsical creatures.
• Own complex shots and key sequences from initial blocking through to final animation.
• Collaborate with Lead Animators and Animation Supervisors to realize the directors' creative vision.
• Mentor and train new animators and provide technical assistance to show supervisors.
• Participate in regular dailies to provide feedback and develop aesthetic solutions.
• Maintain consistent productivity while meeting high-quality production deadlines.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work from Vancouver, Canada (Hybrid).
• 5+ years of professional Feature Animation experience.
• College-level diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography (or 7+ years of experience in lieu of education).
• Expert knowledge of Maya, traditional animation principles, and compositional design.
• Proficiency with Linux and knowledge of chaining and constraint techniques.
• Strong demo reel and shot breakdown showcasing stylized animation work.
