What you will do

• Build end-to-end AI-native product experiences, transforming model output into structured user value like summaries and action items.
• Iterate on prompts, data flows, and backend logic to improve output quality based on user feedback and evaluations.
• Orchestrate LLMs, retrieval systems, and structured data to translate product requirements into production systems.
• Optimize system tradeoffs across latency, cost, reliability, and output quality for scalable experiences.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and Django to support evolving AI-driven requirements.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to rapidly prototype and ship features from idea to production.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building product-facing systems.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code, specifically in Python.
• Experience with modern web stacks, including APIs, data systems, and async workflows.
• Ability to think in terms of product outcomes and user utility rather than just technical implementation.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and iterating quickly.
• Must be based in or able to work in Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience building or experimenting with LLM-powered features, including prompting, evaluation, and RAG.
• Experience designing systems that balance latency, cost, and quality.
• Exposure to user feedback loops, experimentation, or evaluation frameworks.
