What you will do

• Support the operation, monitoring, and testing of Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) systems under senior supervision.
• Assist in mission planning, including route design, environmental considerations, and contingency procedures.
• Monitor command-and-control interfaces and telemetry displays during live maritime operations.
• Execute operational test plans and accurately document system performance and technical discrepancies.
• Collect and organize mission data to support engineering assessments and capability evaluations.
• Help prepare and deliver operator training and manuals for government and partner personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maritime operations, robotics, or a related technical field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in defense, maritime, or unmanned systems (internships and academic projects considered).
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence required due to ITAR/EAR restrictions; no sponsorship available.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to testing sites and operational deployments.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to USVs, UAS, or autonomous maritime robotics.
• Prior military or defense industry experience, specifically in maritime or aviation roles.
• Familiarity with maritime navigation and RDT&E programs.
