What you will do

• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and assess risk.
• Act as an advisor on audit, risk, and financial compliance requirements.
• Ensure end-to-end coverage of customer financial risk and manage external customer audits.
• Identify control gaps and co-own the development of remediation measures with business owners.
• Maintain process and control narratives to ensure timely documentation of changes.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and IT teams, as well as external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, SOX, audit, or internal controls.
• Knowledge of SOX, COSO, US GAAP, and financial best practices.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Frisco, Texas office.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in public accounting, advisory, or forensic audit (Big 4 preferred).
• CPA or CIA certification.
• Comfort with technology for process improvement and automation.
