What you will do

• Mentor and develop a mixed team of field deployment engineers and remote technical support specialists.
• Act as the primary expert on hardware, software, and deployment systems for customers and internal partners.
• Own and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify inefficiencies and build new processes.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to surface recurring issues and inform product improvements.
• Travel up to 25% to support new location launches and assist customers across the country.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a lead or management role with at least 6 direct reports.
• Proven hands-on technical experience in field operations or customer support.
• Based in or near a major airport in the West Coast or Central time zone.
• Comfortable with up to 25% travel, including occasional last-minute deployments.
• Ability to coach and develop team members through direct, constructive feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience building knowledge bases, internal documentation, or training resources.
• Strong technical ability in installing drivers, diagnosing system issues, and building PCs.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
