What you will do
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, providing a warm and hospitable environment for current and prospective clients.
- Facilitate and support a premier in-person experience across all front-of-house spaces in the galleries.
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding international sale calendars, special events, departments, and personnel.
- Manage exhibition-related activities including opening/closing galleries, creating client accounts, and bid registrations.
- Coordinate with specialist and non-specialist departments to ensure all client needs are met.
- Communicate the domestic and international auction process effectively to potential clients.
Requirements
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service oriented attitude.
- Proven experience employing resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and poise.
- Previous experience in a client service, luxury, or hospitality-driven industry.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
- Must be based in New York, United States
Nice to have
- General knowledge of art history and the art market.
- Proficiency in foreign languages.
