What you will do

• Support the practice team by providing proficient veterinary care and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Operate medical equipment including lab, radiology, anesthesia, and dental tools.
• Maintain patient records and logs, including controlled substance tracking and PIMS usage.
• Manage client interactions, including invoice reviews and payment processing.
• Ensure clinic hygiene by cleaning workspaces after every patient interaction.
• Collaborate with practice managers on inventory needs and compliance training.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Experience in veterinary medicine and ability to complete the veterinary assistant skills checklist.
• Preferably completed an accredited veterinary assistant program.
• Must be able to work onsite in the specified Colorado locations.
• Physical ability to stand/walk 80% of the shift and lift up to 70+ lbs.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to customer service.
