Compensation Range: $250,000 to $320,000 base plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead the entire TD&R function, taking deep personal ownership of strategic bets, organizational structure, and measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with Product and Innovation teams to execute an agentic SOC roadmap, moving repetitive investigations to automated workflows.
• Drive measurable outcomes including mean time to detect and respond (MTTx), detection coverage, and operational consistency.
• Lead change management and cultural shifts required for the SOC transition, fostering transparency and analyst trust.
• Identify and resolve systemic operational bottlenecks, tool friction, and analyst burnout risks.
• Build and mentor a resilient leadership bench of senior directors and managers capable of navigating high-pressure incidents.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading modern security operations, threat detection and response, or incident response.
• 5+ years of experience leading through other managers and directors across a multi-functional business unit.
• Proven success in creating and executing a strategic plan for a major security function with full accountability for organizational design.
• Strong business judgment connecting security metrics to customer retention, margin, and company growth.
• Technical point of view on the intersection of automation and human judgment in security operations.
• Must be based in the United States.
