What you will do

• Assess urgent pediatric concerns and proactively triage patients via chat, phone, and video.
• Follow evidence-based clinical protocols for pediatric assessment and triage.
• Conduct ongoing clinical and psychosocial assessments to build rapport and provide reassurance.
• Identify and address barriers to care to reduce care gaps like missed appointments.
• Educate patients on remote monitoring equipment for infant health.
• Document interactions and escalate cases to multidisciplinary teams as needed.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a BSN degree and a current unrestricted multi-state (compact) license.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in outpatient pediatric primary care, urgent care, or emergency settings.
• Must be internet-connected and capable of working remotely via video, phone, and text.
• Must be willing to work a rotating day/night schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Experience providing virtual, phone, or in-person pediatric triage.
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism in maternal and infant health.

Nice to have

• Certification as a CLC, IBCLC, or Sleep Consultant.
• Experience providing care in Spanish.
• Additional years of outpatient pediatric or virtual triage experience.
