What you will do

• Conduct quality checks on fruits and vegetables to assess freshness, defects, and shelf life against specifications.
• Make objective decisions on product acceptance or rejection based on customer impact and quality criteria.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues, packaging defects, and customer complaints to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Verify food safety requirements and maintain cold chain standards throughout the supply chain.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or fresh produce operations.
• Ability to work independently and make consistent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for fresh produce.
• Availability for shifts (06:00–15:00, 09:00–18:00, 14:30–23:30), including weekends.
• Good level of English proficiency.
• Driving licence and access to your own car.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Dutch.
• Educational background in food, agriculture, or horticulture.
