What you will do

• Lead the implementation of LAN, WAN, and Firewall architectures to ensure capacity, redundancy, and security.
• Oversee day-to-day administration of Windows Server, Hypervisors, and cloud services.
• Implement and maintain security baselines (DISP, ISO 27001) across servers, endpoints, and network devices.
• Coordinate with international teams on SIEM, endpoint detection & response (EDR), and incident response.
• Lead medium-sized IT projects, including network and application rollouts.
• Provide L2/L3 support for remote offices with monthly travel across Australia and annual travel to Germany.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in both enterprise network and system administration.
• Proven ability to rapidly diagnose and fix complex network failures.
• Australian nationality and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aruba Routers, Checkpoint Firewalls, and Cisco switching.
