What you will do

• Design and govern scalable, secure application and integration architectures.
• Define integration strategies using APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging patterns.
• Lead application modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and legacy system retirement.
• Collaborate with Enterprise, Security, Data, and Business Architects to ensure strategic alignment.
• Support Agile and DevOps delivery through architectural assurance and automation.
• Provide technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring across delivery teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with the ability to visit the London office occasionally.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering application and integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in modern architectures, including cloud-native, microservices, and modular monoliths.
• Proven track record with APIs, messaging technologies, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience integrating SaaS solutions with a focus on security, identity, and access management.
• Skilled in Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft, API Management platforms, or iPaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Experience working in regulated or public sector environments.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and user-centred design principles.
