TL;DR

Full-Cycle Account Executive (SaaS): Leading the go-to-market strategy and sales operations for the Japanese market with an accent on full-cycle sales, from pipeline generation to closing. Focus on building the Japanese customer base, conducting consultative product demonstrations, and shaping local market strategy for the fitness and wellness sector.

Location: Must be based in Japan (Tokyo preferred).

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle in Japan, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and closing.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations via screen share in Japanese.
  • Educate and consult Japanese business owners on growth strategies within the fitness and wellness industry.
  • Manage sales activities and pipeline data within HubSpot.
  • Act as the voice of the Japanese market to help shape product and go-to-market approaches.
  • Collaborate with the broader APAC sales team and report to the Director of Sales, APAC.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Japan.
  • 3+ years of closing experience in software or SaaS sales.
  • 1+ years of experience selling into small businesses, preferably in Japan.
  • 1+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including outbound prospecting.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and market dynamics.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in early-stage startups or as a first sales hire.
  • Existing network of contacts in the Japanese fitness or wellness industry.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM.
