What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements for payment and financial flows via workshops and interviews.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for technical teams.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Validate delivered functionality against requirements and support solution design.
• Create end-user documentation and provide necessary training.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Belgium
• Languages: Fluent Dutch and English required
• Bachelor/Master degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Functional or Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of payment lifecycles (authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation) and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with SQL, basic data analysis, and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
