What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of core trading system architecture for a digital asset exchange.
• Own institutional connectivity and API architecture, specifically focusing on the FIX protocol (4.4).
• Design high-availability, low-latency systems for order matching, market data distribution, clearing, and settlement.
• Define and maintain FIX API specifications, interface documentation, and integration standards.
• Conduct technical design reviews and drive implementation across engineering teams.
• Manage and mentor a cross-functional engineering team of 20–30 people across multiple regions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering and system architecture experience.
• 3+ years of experience in crypto exchanges, trading venues, or traditional financial markets (FX, equities, derivatives).
• Deep expertise in FIX protocol (4.4 or higher) and low-latency, high-concurrency distributed systems.
• Strong programming background in at least one major language such as Java, C, or Go.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience leading large cross-functional teams across multiple geographical regions.
