Project Associate (Project Management)

TL;DR

Project Associate (Project Management): Supporting corporate operations, compliance, and administrative tasks for climate change adaptation programs in the Mekong Delta with an accent on project accounting and financial reporting. Focus on managing expenditure against budgets, maintaining personnel databases, and coordinating with international stakeholders.

Location: Must be a Vietnamese national based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Manage project accounting and financial reporting according to corporate principles.
• Oversee project and headquarter expenditure against budgets and process payments for vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate business and personnel data on corporate databases and systems.
• Identify and support the timely resolution of contract-related issues.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and international colleagues.
• Lead internal initiatives to improve operational efficiency and encourage team innovation.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior work experience, preferably within an international development project management environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Advanced research, analytical skills, and financial acumen, including expert-level Excel.
• Must be a Vietnamese national with valid work rights in Vietnam.
• Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout the APAC region.
