What you will do

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and expense processing to maintain accurate records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure compliance with Japanese tax requirements.
• Oversee Japanese payroll operations, ensuring compliant processing, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Manage contracts, invoices, and procurement for external partners while tracking vendor deliverables.
• Support group financial reporting and intercompany transaction reconciliations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience working in Japan and familiarity with Japanese accounting practices.
• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience (required for Japanese Visa qualifications).
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
• Must be based in or have authorization to work in Tokyo, Japan.
