Senior Accountant

American luxury lifestyle brand offering ready-to-wear, handbags, footwear, accessories, jewelry, home, and beauty collections.

What you will do

• Manage accounting activities across accounts payable, expense reports, treasury, intercompany transactions, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Process vendor invoices and expense reports, prepare bank wire transfers, and clear accounts payable transactions in SAP and Concur.
• Maintain the general ledger, account reconciliations, bank statements, master files, and fixed-asset records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, financial statement preparation, regulatory reporting, audits, and tax activities.
• Monitor inventory and improve finance processes and procedures.
• Communicate with and train store staff and other departments on finance matters.

Requirements

• At least five years of accounting experience, including experience in an international environment with English-based accounting.
• Accounting or finance experience and Japanese Bookkeeping Level 2 certification.
• Professional experience with SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIF.
• Business English is required for communication.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, numerical, and teamwork skills.
