What you will do

• Prepare client financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and trends affecting tax reporting.
• Collaborate with tax preparers to ensure financial statements align with compliance standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for clients.
• Ensure all financial reports comply with GAAP and applicable tax regulations.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial data and address accounting inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and MS Excel.
• Must be based in Tucson, AZ for onsite work.

• Experience in a public accounting or tax preparation firm environment.
• Familiarity with financial reporting for small businesses, partnerships, and individuals.
