What you will do

• Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards and deadlines.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Review and evaluate audit work papers and financial statements to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and address any concerns.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction through proactive communication.
• Participate in business development by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Required).
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• At least 5+ years of experience in a CPA firm with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Must have Non-Profit experience (Required).
• Experience using CCH Engagement, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products.
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Woodbury, NY (Required).

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Experience with Uniformed Guidance and Construction.
