Tax Manager (International Tax)

What you will do

• Perform technical reviews of various tax returns to ensure accuracy and resolve complex issues.
• Provide professional tax research and consulting services in response to client requests.
• Manage tax engagements, including the planning and supervision of the return preparation process.
• Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities for clients and coordinate with other advisors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their external advisors.
• Mentor and train staff members as a team leader to support professional growth.

Requirements

• CPA or EA certification with 5+ years of progressive CPA firm experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation (Masters preferred).
• Knowledge of international tax laws (S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships) and foreign informational reporting.
• Proficiency in GAAP, as well as knowledge of estates, trusts, and consolidated returns.
• Experience with UltraTax CS, CCH ProSystems, QuickBooks, or Practice CS.
• Must be based in the US and able to align with the US East Coast (EST) timezone.
