Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do
- Install and repair scientific instrumentation manufactured by Luminex Corporation at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance, retrofit installations, and complex troubleshooting with minimal support.
- Manage an expense account, service tools, and spare parts inventories.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all service calls and corrective actions within the CRM system.
- Interface daily with internal and external customers to ensure service excellence.
- Meet departmental KPIs regarding response times and PM completion rates.
Requirements
- Technical school or military technical training in Electronics Technology or Computer Science.
- Must be based in San Francisco or the Northern California region.
- 1+ years of experience in Field Service, in-house Biomed, or a customer-facing technical role.
- High mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (High proficiency) is required.
- Valid Passport or eligibility for international travel (up to 75% travel required).
Nice to have
- Biotechnical training or an associate degree/higher in an engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of electronic measuring equipment.
