What you will do

• Own vendor negotiation strategy across SaaS, data partnerships, hosting, and marketing to drive year-over-year savings.
• Conduct full audits of existing vendor contracts to identify renegotiation opportunities and challenge upcoming renewals.
• Run competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, reverse auctions) to benchmark pricing against market rates.
• Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations focusing on unit price, payment terms, caps, and exit rights.
• Build a savings tracker and develop negotiation playbooks by vendor category.
• Evaluate and implement a procurement intake and approval platform (e.g., Zip, Ramp) and integrate it with ERP systems.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience with a demonstrable savings track record.
• Expertise in closing complex, high-value SaaS and vendor contracts.
• Deep familiarity with SaaS and AI pricing models and contract structures.
• Strong financial instincts with the ability to build financial models to evaluate pricing.
• Hands-on experience implementing procure-to-pay or intake platforms like Zip or Coupa.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and push back on vendors effectively.
