Content Services and Content Production Technology Development Intern (TypeScript): Developing and refactoring backend APIs for audio delivery pipelines and multimedia production with an accent on TypeScript best practices and AWS cloud infrastructure. Focus on optimizing content discovery, implementing CI/CD processes, and improving the delivery of newscasts to various platforms.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or on-site in Washington, D.C.)

What you will do

• Write and refactor TypeScript code for audio delivery pipelines.
• Develop backend APIs for content delivery and discovery.
• Participate in Agile scrum meetings and ceremonies.
• Manage code releases using CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate via GitHub Pull Requests and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Support production emergencies and internal team requests.

Requirements

• Must be a current student in an accredited degree program or a recent graduate (within 12 months).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Knowledge of Node and TypeScript.
• Experience using GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with REST API concepts and SDLC (Build, Test, Deploy).
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Coding experience with C#.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Docker and AWS ECS.
• Experience with AWS API Gateway and Lambda.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM productivity tools such as Gemini or Copilot.
