What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of fullstack features using Java and React.
• Drive architectural decisions to improve scaling, performance, reliability, and observability.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to define technical approaches for new features.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems across multiple domains to identify and resolve root causes.
• Mentor engineers and champion quality through code reviews and technical documentation.
• Manage project specifications and scope using project management and operation tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2–3 years building SaaS products.
• Fullstack development proficiency in Java and React.
• Proven track record in system design, building scalable, reliable, and secure architectures.
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or Co-pilot to accelerate development.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with performance optimization and observability tools like Datadog.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations.
