Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States). Priority for candidates in key hubs: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco.

Salary: $104,000 – $130,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Solicit stories from customers and draft compelling press releases.
• Pitch solved crime stories to news outlets to secure high-volume positive press coverage.
• Support local city press conferences and maintain relationships with reporters and public sector customers.
• Act as a confident and credible spokesperson for the company.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 4-6 years of public relations experience (agency or in-house), preferably in high-growth tech.
• Direct experience dealing with reporters and strong public speaking skills.
• Experience working with public sector employees, such as law enforcement or elected officials.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with media pitch writing.

• Prior relationships with public sector employees, especially law enforcement.
