What you will do

• Architect and build agentic AI systems and LLM orchestration to handle complex, multi-step business processes.
• Develop MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to provide structured and governed access to core product and operational data.
• Build AI-assisted intake systems, RAG-powered knowledge assistants, and automated KPI dashboards.
• Integrate enterprise applications (Salesforce, NetSuite) using a mix of custom code and iPaaS platforms like Workato.
• Implement strictly HIPAA-compliant data handling, role-based access control, and observability frameworks.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into clean technical designs and production-grade code.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in system design and SQL.
• Programming fluency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript; comfort with Ruby is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, tool/function calling, and RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency with Claude Code and AI-assisted development environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, and integrating heterogeneous data sources.
• Proven track record of shipping production software with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments with specific knowledge of HIPAA.
• Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, or embedding pipelines.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, message queues, or stream processing.
• Knowledge of AI observability and evaluation frameworks (prompt regression testing).
• Prior experience in Business Systems or IT engineering contexts.
