Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer: Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for a large-scale fiber network management platform with an accent on automation, containerization, and system reliability. Focus on managing complex cloud-native environments, optimizing development infrastructure, and supporting international Scrum teams within a SAFe framework.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia (Hybrid or Remote within Slovakia).

Salary: From €2,600/month gross (negotiable based on experience).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Manage source code, configuration, release, and deployment activities.
• Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and system tuning.
• Implement innovative technologies and create concepts for service automation.
• Provide consulting and support to project teams on infrastructure and quality assurance.
• Continuously optimize development and system infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ICT systems.
• Expert knowledge of Linux, Bash, Python, and Git.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and monitoring tools like ELK/Prometheus.
• Intermediate experience with AWS or OpenStack.
• English proficiency: B2 (Upper intermediate).
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Maven, Gradle, or CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitLab.
• Knowledge of security practices and networking.
