Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer: Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for a cross-functional Scrum team with an accent on automation, configuration management, and system reliability. Focus on building and running scalable infrastructure, implementing innovative technologies, and ensuring seamless deployment processes.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia. The role is primarily remote, with in-person meetings required in Košice for sprint events and periodic planning sessions.

Salary: From €2,600 gross per month (negotiable based on experience).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Manage source code, configuration, release, build, and deployment activities.
• Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and system tuning.
• Consult project teams on technical solutions and develop Proof of Concept prototypes.
• Continuously optimize development and system infrastructure.
• Setup and manage integration with partner applications.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ICT systems.
• Expert knowledge of Linux, Bash, Python, Docker, Git, and Networking.
• Advanced skills in Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab), IaC (Ansible/Terraform/Puppet), and monitoring stacks (ELK/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Intermediate experience with Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• English: B2 level required.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
