What you will do

• Manage firewall administration, including rule creation, policy management, and troubleshooting, with a preference for FortiGate.
• Implement and optimize L2/L3 routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, with additional focus on SQL Server familiarity.
• Architect and maintain OT/IT boundaries in industrial environments such as energy, utilities, and manufacturing.
• Work with industrial protocols including IEC 60870-5-104, OPC UA/DA, and Modbus.
• Travel occasionally to renewable energy sites in northern Portugal.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT, networking, or OT.
• Hands-on engineering level experience with FortiGate firewalls and L2/L3 networking.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with industrial protocols and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Portuguese fluency and functional English are required.
• Must be able to travel to sites in northern Portugal.
