Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin, Germany (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)

What you will do
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts through regular 1:1s and career development planning.
- Own the team’s delivery pipeline by implementing sprint planning and intake processes to manage ad-hoc requests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Director-level stakeholders in Commercial, Product, and Engineering.
- Translate Ads division strategy into actionable quarterly goals focused on maximizing ad revenue and vendor ROI.
- Review team output, ensuring SQL queries are optimized and dashboards provide clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Staff Data Analysts to integrate machine learning models into team workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Data Science, preferably in AdTech or Marketplace environments.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership, management, or technical lead role.
- Expertise in SQL and BI visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Solid understanding of Python and Machine Learning concepts.
- Strong commercial fluency regarding digital ad auctions (CPM/CPC) and profitability measurement.
- Must be able to work from the Berlin office 2 days per week.
