What you will do
- Design, build, and evolve services for the internal back-office system.
- Maintain strategic user features including claim management and reporting systems.
- Take full ownership of features from technical design through to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Uphold code quality standards through detailed feedback and mentorship in code reviews.
- Document solutions to ensure APIs and services are well-understood by consumer teams.
Requirements
- Solid experience in a growth-oriented engineering culture.
- Strong knowledge of the Java language and ecosystem with solid software architecture foundations.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Significant experience building, deploying, and operating backend microservices in production.
- Product-oriented mindset focused on delivering business impact.
- Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints.
