What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve services for the internal back-office system.
• Maintain strategic user features including claim management and reporting systems.
• Take full ownership of features from technical design through to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Uphold code quality standards through detailed feedback and mentorship in code reviews.
• Document solutions to ensure APIs and services are well-understood by consumer teams.

Requirements

• Solid experience in a growth-oriented engineering culture.
• Strong knowledge of the Java language and ecosystem with solid software architecture foundations.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Significant experience building, deploying, and operating backend microservices in production.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on delivering business impact.
• Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints.
