What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services and APIs powering AI-driven features.
• Build robust Python applications integrated with AI models in production.
• Work across monolithic and microservice architectures using Python and legacy PHP.
• Solve complex technical challenges in video processing and platform scalability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver creator-focused features.
• Champion engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience in production environments.
• Mastery of Python and willingness to work with legacy PHP codebases.
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals including APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• English proficiency is mandatory for daily operations.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver in complex, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools for prototyping and debugging.
• Previous experience in startup or high-growth production environments.
• French language skills.
