Location: Must be based in or near Paris, France (3 days remote per week)
Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 yearly

What you will do
- Design and maintain backend services and APIs powering AI-driven features.
- Build robust Python applications integrated with AI models in production.
- Work across monolithic and microservice architectures using Python and legacy PHP.
- Solve complex technical challenges in video processing and platform scalability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver creator-focused features.
- Champion engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience in production environments.
- Mastery of Python and willingness to work with legacy PHP codebases.
- Solid understanding of backend fundamentals including APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
- English proficiency is mandatory for daily operations.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver in complex, ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools for prototyping and debugging.
- Previous experience in startup or high-growth production environments.
- French language skills.
