What you will do

• Lead civil engineering projects from planning through detailed design and delivery, overseeing technical quality and budgets.
• Manage senior-level client relationships and represent the company on local and national projects.
• Ensure delivery excellence via technical verification, design governance, and risk management.
• Coordinate across disciplines and stakeholders to resolve interfaces and maintain high documentation standards.
• Drive business development through opportunity identification, fee estimation, and proposal preparation.
• Mentor and develop junior civil engineers within the team.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects for clients such as the South Australian Government or Department of Defence.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or equivalent international accreditation.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a similar field.
• Strong engineering judgement with proven experience leading design and development.
• Proficiency in civil design software including DRAINS, 12D, and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Austroads and ability to apply local authority and client-specific standards.
