What you will do

• Develop horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and corridor models based on client requirements and standards.
• Generate and manage design deliverables, including digital terrain models, drawings, and quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with civil, drainage, utilities, structures, traffic, and survey teams to resolve interfaces.
• Apply road safety principles and constructability considerations to design decisions.
• Prepare and check design outputs for layer/feature compliance and metadata for digital delivery.
• Maintain design records within the common data environment following control procedures.

Requirements

• Proven road and highway design experience using 12d Model.
• Strong understanding of geometric design principles and standards.
• Working knowledge of drainage and utilities interfaces and their influence on roadway geometry.
• Proficiency in producing model-based deliverables aligned with BIM and digital delivery requirements.
• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or an equivalent design discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Civil 3D and OpenRoads.
• Experience with Navisworks and model coordination.
• Skills in vehicle swept path analysis and earthworks optimization.
