What you will do

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the character rigging pipeline.
• Oversee rigging, deformation systems, simulations, and technical quality for characters, creatures, and weapons.
• Mentor and support riggers and Character Technical Artists to foster professional growth.
• Design and develop automation tools and pipeline enhancements using Python.
• Implement and optimize procedural animation, physics, and Control Rig systems within Unreal Engine.
• Balance visual fidelity with performance optimization across multiple target platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the video game industry with at least two shipped game titles.
• Experience as a Rigger, Technical Animator, or Technical Artist on a released Unreal Engine project.
• Proven leadership experience managing, mentoring, or guiding rigging and character technical art teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Maya (mGear experience is an advantage).
• Advanced scripting skills using Python for developing tools and automation.
• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine systems including Control Rig, Physics, Cloth, and Anim Dynamics.
